As I crafted the 8th and final installment of my Silhouette Theme Series, I envisioned the 5-point star and all the meanings it conveys. The star creates the image of a human with the head as the highest point, arms as side points, and legs as lower points. Symbolically, the upward point can represent Spirit, and the other four points represent the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water. The colors I selected for this piece draw out the four elements of earth, air, fire and water.

ACRYLIC FACEMOUNT (FUJIFLEX CRYSTAL ARCHIVAL PAPER)

Most popular and one of my top recommendation to clients and art lovers.  Very modern and vibrant and will make an impact wherever displayed.  Acrylic Facemount is a process that involves applying an optically clear adhesive to the face of the art piece then adhering the print to acrylic, known as plexiglass, which gives the image a rich, glass-like effect.

Once the print is adhered to the acrylic, a backing material like dibond is adhered to the back of the print to protect the print and provide rigidity to the art.
