My vision of a painterly look for the picture of the Lion and Lioness taken at Wild Animal Park, California was achieved by using filters, various brush strokes, different textures for depth, light and shadows, and compositing.

Acrylic Facemount is a process that involves applying an optically clear adhesive to the face of the art piece then adhering the print to acrylic, known as plexiglass, which gives the image a rich, glass-like effect.
Once the print is adhered to the acrylic, a backing material like dibond is adhered to the back of the print to protect the print and provide rigidity to the art.
